To join the Hellenic Association of Focal Therapy, download the membership application form, fill it in and sign it, then email us a scanned copy.

Membership Categories

Article 4 of the Statutes

Regular members

Specialist physicians with particular interest in or engagement with focal therapy, admitted upon proposal by two regular members and approval by the Board. They have voting rights and may elect and be elected.

Associate members

Young physicians and residents interested in focal therapy. After two years they may become regular members. They do not have voting rights and may not elect or be elected.

Honorary members

Distinguished scientists in Greece or abroad who have contributed to the advancement of focal therapy, admitted by Board decision. They do not have voting rights and may not elect or be elected.

To register, an applicant must submit a written application accepting the Association's statutes, along with a certificate from their Medical Association confirming they are licensed to practice medicine. The Board decides within one month; a rejected application may be appealed to the General Assembly.

Members' Rights & Obligations

Article 5 of the Statutes

Members must contribute their scientific knowledge toward the Association's goals, comply with decisions of the Board and General Assembly, and attend regularly.

Regular and associate members pay a registration fee and an annual subscription, as set by the Board. Honorary members are exempt. Two consecutive years of unjustified non-payment may result in removal.

Every member has the right to participate in the Association's events and scientific meetings, and to submit proposals to the Board. Regular members in good standing vote, elect, and may be elected at the General Assembly.

Resignation requires written notice to the Board at least 3 months before the end of the accounting year, without refund of the current year's subscription.
